IT Associate (Remote in Birmingham, AL)
Job Details
To provide general application/technical information, analysis, and system support. Participates in the overall design, building, testing, training, and support of assigned applications. Provides first line support for a given application or set of applications through the knowledgeable use of appropriate technology and available functionality. This is targeted to the new graduate with an aptitude for technology.
- Employee will provide build, testing, maintenance, and support for Epic Care Everywhere and Epic Identity.
- Employee will cross-train in Epic Bridges (interfaces) and Corepoint (interface engine).
- Employee analyzes potential duplicate patient reports & merges/rejects based on research.
- Employee will rotate on-call for the Integration team on a variable rotation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Position requires certification or proficiency in Epic Identity, Care Everywhere, and Bridges modules.
- Employee will have 90 days from date of hire to acquire the required proficiencies or certifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, One Note, and SharePoint.
- Minimal travel required.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to operate various office machines including printers, computers and various software packages
- Ability to problem-solve
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Prioritization skills
