- Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patient.
- Assists patient with activities and care as assigned by the Charge Nurse and/or RN and as indicated by the patient's plan of care.
- Prepares and chaperones patient during examination, procedure and treatments; assists with patient procedures / treatments.
- Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times in accord with current regulatory standards.
- Demonstrates proficiency in use of office machines, computers, and multi-phone lines.
- Performs related duties as required.
Supports a clinical department or medical staff member(s). Administrative support duties as noted to also include work of a medical nature.
- Required:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Certifications:
- BLS required
- CPI required for Emergency Room
