We are looking for an Application Lifecycle Management Intern to join our team and lead the requirement-gathering and process definition for a new Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) initiative. You will focus on creating an end-to-end ALM framework, starting with the comprehensive inventory of all existing applications, identifying critical attributes, and establishing a structured onboarding and offboarding process. You will collaborate across departments including Security, Procurement, Compliance, IT, and Business Operations.
This will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while you integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and develop your skills in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements gathering process for the ALM initiative by engaging stakeholders across technical and business units.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of existing enterprise applications, identifying ownership, business function, dependencies, data classification, risk, and criticality.
- Define and document business processes for application onboarding and offboarding, including integrations with security, procurement, compliance, and operational teams.
- Analyze current gaps and inefficiencies in application lifecycle management and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure application processes adhere to internal controls, data protection policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with procurement and finance teams to integrate license management, cost tracking, and contract information into the ALM process.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation including process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to align stakeholders and gain consensus on requirements and solutions.
- Support project planning, change management, and stakeholder communication activities as the ALM program evolves.
Qualifications
- Pursuing degree in Business Analysis, ideally within IT, software asset management, or enterprise systems.
- Experience working on IT governance, application lifecycle, asset management, or similar initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application environments and integrations with departments such as security, compliance, and procurement.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and systems.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., process modeling, gap analysis, Agile/Scrum or Waterfall).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in preparing clear documentation.
- Familiarity with application inventories, CMDBs, or IT asset management tools is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, CMDB, or similar platforms.
