Compliance Associate (Hybrid in Dallas, TX)

Description
The Compliance Associate will assist USPI, assigned supervisor, and region with execution of key compliance oversight activities. The USPI Compliance Associate will be responsible for the following under the direction of the USPI Compliance Director:
- Participation in auditing and monitoring activities, such as physician medical director audits, referral source audits (data gathering/sampling), and facility space walk-throughs
- Conducting preliminary fact gathering and assessment of reported issues and contemporaneous documentation of such efforts
- Assisting in the implementation of corrective action plans resulting from investigations or audits including any other identified issues
- Assisting with reports to market/regional quarterly meetings
- Assisting with preparation of USPI compliance education and training initiatives
- Assistance with Compliance Champion Program
- Develop compliance dashboards and data analytic spreadsheets
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred
- 1 – 2 years of health care industry or equivalent experience required, preferably in Ambulatory Surgery Center space
- Self-starter/initiative and positive attitude required
