Tenet Healthcare has an immediate need for an experienced Policy and Procedures Governance professional who has successfully navigated and managed a complete policy review and revision in a large, complex and highly matrixed enterprise.
Research, review and analyze all Tenet policies and procedures, for quality and accuracy under strict project deadlines. Effectively communicate recommendations for revisions for better clarity, flow, and compliance considerations
Participates in and leads diverse functional groups to improve the quality and effectiveness of internal controls, policies and procedures and business processes. Demonstrates proficiency in achieving consensus between opposing views and makes tough calls when necessary.
Builds and maintains strong relationships across the business and proficiently leverages those relationships to drive functional objectives to completion in an environment with competing priorities
Manage and provide notes and correspondence on all policy projects, events and revisions; provides current status on all open assignments including dates, deadlines and responsibilities
Help manage and coordinate policy review and approval committees and groups
Oversees policy management application and works with Policy Specialist to train operators, address issues, and generate reports as needed.
Ensures policies and procedures are up-to-date, communicated broadly across the group, and appropriately layered into a comprehensive and robust on-boarding and training plan.
This position is in our Dallas office. Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree with a minimum five (5) year of experience in the regulatory, audit, finance or procedure writing field.
- Experience managing policy updates for a large scale enterprise, high volume revisions
- Project Management skills, timelines, deadlines, milestones, communication
- Requires excellent communication skills including presentation to ELT groups
