Corporate HIM Analyst (Remote or Hybrid based in Dallas, TX)
Job Details
This position will provide analytics and reporting support to the Manager HIM Coding Analysis in the area of development and analysis of coding and HIIM reporting activities. Supports HIM and coding leadership teams by requesting new system accesses for all HIM/Coding team members, completes IT access audits, and ensures team member credentials are appropriately maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, prepares, and distributes monthly HIM, coding, and CDI reports
- Requests and maintains eID accesses for Tenet team members and contractors
- Assists in the preparations of presentations, charts, and directories
- Aids in maintaining databases, extraction of data, and modification of queries
- Supports operations with data mining for report extraction and data requests
- Coordinates meeting minutes
- Ad-hoc requests as needed
- All other duties assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
- 1-3 years data reporting and data analysis
- Expertise skills in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL
- Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to provide timely reports to management
- Degree in computer science, management information systems (IS), business, engineering, or related field
Preferred:
- Healthcare data reporting and analytics experience
- Knowledge of healthcare systems such as EMR’s, Encoders, and CDI platforms
- Certifications in SQL, Tableau, Power BI preferred but not required
