Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Level IV Security license through the State of Texas, or ability to obtain the license.
- 3-5 years of experience providing security protection within a large organization (Corporate setting is preferred).
- Supervisory experience preferred.

Job Description
- Under supervision performs routine, assigned tasks from detailed instructions, established policies and procedures.
- Assists in the protection of the organization's physical assets by maintaining and safeguarding the physical perimeter, exterior, and interior perimeters of the facility.
- Assists in patrolling and protecting the facilities by foot and/or vehicle to detect or prevent illegal/unauthorized activities. We will run an MVR on the final candidate.
- Provides security protection for all organizational facilities and personnel within areas of responsibility to preclude unauthorized access, theft or intentional destruction.
- With supervision or approval from Security Manager, responds to unusual or emergency situations using the appropriate degree of physical force and or weaponry as situation dictates.
- Assists in the controlling of personnel and vehicular ingress/egress into and exiting controlled secure areas.
- Be alert for potential security, property or safety concerns and initiate the appropriate actions by notifying senior personnel.
- Assist and Perform escort duties as appropriate.
- Maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons as required.
- Under general direction, supervises the personnel engaged in the Physical Security function for the organization.
- Maintains a physical presence at heavy traffic areas within the building.
- Prevent/report all violations of security and safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all security orders, written and oral, pertaining to assigned duties as well as working knowledge of applicable federal/state laws.
- Assists in the development of an efficient and safe operation of the organization's physical security operations
- Oversees the handling of emergency situations, including employee injuries.
- Monitors performance and assignments of personnel and makes periodic inspections to insure they are properly equipped, trained, and fulfilling their duties in compliance with organization's policies.
- Acts as a stand in officer in the event of under-staffing.
- Deputized Executive Protection Agent for Chief Executive Officer in absence of Manager of Corp. Security.
