Description

The Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for the design and assurance of identifying Cybersecurity controls that need to be implemented with a strong focus on the Microsoft Center of Excellence products to include non-Microsoft Cloud based Cybersecurity controls. The Cybersecurity Architect will ensure configuration design and its operational hand off, to then protect the patient care operations and sensitive data across the Tenet enterprise.

  • Apply technical knowledge to architect security solutions that meet business, IT, Regulatory and Compliance needs.
  • Ensure that the solutions exhibit “Secure by Design” or “Well-Architected” framework principles, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Evaluate and align where Microsoft Security solutions apply to the Tenet Cybersecurity Strategy and applying this to a Cybersecurity tools roadmap.
  • Execute on the roadmap items, ensuring design, build and operational readiness handing off to the operational team for Day 2 support.
  • Collaborate with other Architects, Engineers and Microsoft stakeholders in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Azure and Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Orchestrate technical resources that may be required to deliver business outcomes.
  • Continue to drive the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, working with the Microsoft Center of Excellence leaders and the key business stakeholders to ensure that the data at Tenet and its subsidiaries is protected.
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats, trends and technologies in the Microsoft space and non-Microsoft Cloud based Cybersecurity controls.
  • Leverage Cloud Security Posture Management solutions to identify and track configuration changes needed to continue to address ongoing threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Support SOC and IR teams with real time engineering to respond to active threats and remediation efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Other combinations of education, experience, or training that may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirements: A relevant combination of education and work experience, as described above, may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Preferred education and/or experience: Experience working in cross-departmental teams and leading efforts through collaboration and influence.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years or more in an Architecture role with design and delivery responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Apply technical knowledge to architect security solutions that meet business, IT, Regulatory and Compliance needs.
  • Ensure that the solutions exhibit “Secure by Design” or “Well-Architected” framework principles, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Demonstrated success in project/product management experience, business, and data analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate with project managers to assist with communications related to cyber project implementation and developing associated change management training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable with communicating with and presenting to executive-level audiences and the broader workforce.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing timely completion of program deliverables.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Responsive to business partners and demonstrates a commitment to providing quality service.
  • <25% travel, as needed based on demand; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted on finalist.

Preferred special requirements:

  • Security Certifications including CISM, CISA, CISSP, CIA, CIPM, or other

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $120,016 - $191,568 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Pay Range: $118,560 - $191,360 **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience ***Calculated based on a full time position
