Director, Compliance (Compliance Policies & Programs)

Position will support the Sr. Director Compliance with oversight of Tenet Compliance Programs areas to include policy management, compliance training and conflict of interest/exclusions. Oversight responsibilities includes Tenet and Conifer for policy management and compliance training. The Director, Compliance Programs will be responsible for the following under the direction of the Sr. Director Compliance:

• Day-to-day policy management oversight of Policy Managers who facilitate developing policy committee review documents, development of policy flash communications, facility policy migrations, policy owner support and follow-up, policy system administration and reporting of policy metrics.
• Management of Tenet/Conifer enterprise-wide policy initiatives focused on document reduction, policy revision with cross business unit consideration, document repository, and governance review.
• Direct policy owner support for review/development of complex policies.
• Collaboration with senior level leaders to help facilitate discussions and decision making involving complex policies impactful to the organization.
• Advising key stakeholders on policy governance decisions related to enterprise policy impact and understanding of implications of policy types to include: model, corporate, and other process documentation.
• Provide oversight of Tenet Compliance Manager who facilitates the conflict of interest (COI)/exclusion screening program.
• Provide oversight of Tenet Compliance Training Director and Conifer Compliance Training Manager who facilitate management of an annual compliance training plan, compliance training course development, launch, reporting of compliance training completion stats, and support compliance team with learning management system matters.
• Provide oversight of Tenet compliance culture initiatives to include annual culture survey and other activities aimed at addressing compliance culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of prior policy management experience in a large corporate environment and project management in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of health care industry or compliance experience required; self-starter initiative and positive attitude required.
