Tenet Healthcare is looking for a Functional Senior Business Analyst supporting Corporate Applications.

Responsibilities
  • Subject Matter Expert Leadership: Serve as SME within Corporate Applications, mentoring junior analysts and guiding the team in best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Act as a key stakeholder or backup for the Product Owner in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and ensure cross-team alignment on objectives.
  • Requirements Refinement: Partner with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements, prioritize backlog items, and ensure deliverables meet both business value and technical feasibility.
  • Sprint & Resource Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, balance competing priorities, and allocate resources to maximize team efficiency and output.
  • Project Estimation Oversight: Oversee project effort estimation and ensure accurate forecasting for business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Enhancement Projects Leadership: Coordinate UAT testing, manage user training, and lead go-live readiness sessions for major enhancements.
  • Technical Debt Governance: Drive initiatives to identify and resolve technical debt, influencing long-term product stability and scalability.
  • Communication Management: Create and distribute enhancement bulletins, ensuring business users are informed ahead of production changes.
  • Access and Security Oversight: Provide governance on TenetOne access requests and system security approvals when delegated.
  • Feature Upgrades Leadership: Partner with Support Teams to plan, test, and roll out application feature upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain and update training documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for cross-training team members.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill growth and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor team members, delegate tasks effectively, and promote accountability within the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at building strong relationships across IT, business units, and vendor teams to achieve project success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experienced in aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Conflict Resolution: Adept at managing competing priorities and resolving stakeholder conflicts constructively.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform Stack:
    • Canvas Apps / Power Apps / Power Automate (workflow automation, API integration)
    • Power BI (data analysis, report and dashboard creation)
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, and other agile practices, with experience leading Agile ceremonies.
  • Change Management: Ability to manage organizational impact for system changes and lead adoption strategies.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Functional Business Analyst with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
