JOB SUMMARY

Supports various services within the HR Service Center, including onboarding, offboarding, employee referrals, PCNs, severance, employee records, transfers, contractor management, and LOA administration. Customers include employees, managers, and HR Business Partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Others may be assigned.

  • Processes Personnel Change Notices “PCNs” timely with consistent accuracy. This includes new hires, status changes and terminations. Maintains HRMS records and compiles reports from database as needed. Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs, processes and procedures for all company employees such as severance, LOA, etc.
  • Handles new hire paperwork. Processes recruiting transactions such as background checks, drug screenings, and prepares new hire packets for distribution. Creates offer letters.
  • Maintains the HR email box and 800 phone line, responding to inquiries and escalating as needed.

  • Knowledge of the Service Center operational environment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proficient in telephone call taking and resolution
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong data and informational management skills
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with employees at all levels as well as HR colleagues
  • Skilled in writing business correspondence
  • Well-developed team skills

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

  • High School diploma required
  • Experience working in a service center or call center desired
  • 2 years of human resources experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
