We are looking for an Integration and Application Development Intern to support our Technology Solutions team in building and enhancing business-critical systems. This role will involve custom application development using Microsoft .NET and Blazor, integration development using InterSystems IRIS ObjectScript and Python, and low-code automation solutions with UiPath. You will gain hands-on experience developing solutions that directly impact operational efficiency and healthcare service delivery.
This internship will give you the opportunity to integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application in a corporate healthcare setting, while developing your skills in modern application development, system integration, and automation. You will play a key role in advancing our capabilities to streamline workflows, enhance interoperability, and improve overall business processes.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in building custom applications using Microsoft .NET and Blazor.
- Develop integration solutions using InterSystems IRIS ObjectScript and Python.
- Support automation initiatives using UiPath to streamline workflows.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual tasks and optimizing system interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations and application performance.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to enhance system interoperability and functionality.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience with a passion for application development and integration.
- Experience with at least one programming language (C#, Python preferred).
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET development frameworks (Blazor experience a plus).
- Exposure to integration platforms or enterprise data systems (experience with InterSystems IRIS preferred but not required).
- Interest in automation tools (UiPath or similar).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Independence and passion for innovation and learning new technologies.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in learning about healthcare information technology.
