IT Vendor Management Intern – Summer 2025 – Onsite in Dallas, TX

- Gain an introduction or expand your skills into the areas of IS Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing.
- Opportunity to participate and learn as part of our Information Systems team and complete projects that are value added to the business such as:
- Assist in special projects such as analysis of and reporting on current organizational vendor landscape.
- Analysis of contracts including business requirements and legal terms and conditions.
- Study of annual spend and revenue forecasts, analyzing data.
- Opportunity to influence negotiations with large, global IT vendors.
- Report on existing agreements and confidential contract terms.
- Interaction across various Information Systems towers (applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity) and with senior leadership.
- Willingness to promote academic, career and personal development.
- Opportunity to provide and receive feedback.
- Utilize problem solving skills.
- Assists in special projects, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and updated IS vendor records.
Qualifications
- Prefer candidates at the junior, senior, or graduate student level pursuing a degree in Business Information Systems or Supply Chain Management or a similar major with strong communication and data analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Interest in learning about healthcare information technology.
- Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills.
- Demonstrates effective research tactics, good organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
- Commits to continuous learning; being self‐motivated and self‐ directed.
- Ability to work independently with sense of urgency to task completion.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.

We are looking for an IT Vendor Management Intern to support our team in Information Systems and Strategic Sourcing. This will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while you integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and develop your skills in a professional setting.

- Onsite in Dallas, TX
- June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025
