IT Vendor Management Intern – Summer 2025 – Onsite in Dallas, TX

• Gain an introduction or expand your skills into the areas of IS Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing.
• Opportunity to participate and learn as part of our Information Systems team and complete projects that are value added to the business such as:
  • Assist in special projects such as analysis of and reporting on current organizational vendor landscape.
  • Analysis of contracts including business requirements and legal terms and conditions.
  • Study of annual spend and revenue forecasts, analyzing data.
• Opportunity to influence negotiations with large, global IT vendors.
• Report on existing agreements and confidential contract terms.
• Interaction across various Information Systems towers (applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity) and with senior leadership.
• Willingness to promote academic, career and personal development.

• Utilize problem solving skills.
• Assists in special projects, as needed.
• Maintain accurate and updated IS vendor records.

• Prefer candidates at the junior, senior, or graduate student level pursuing a degree in Business Information Systems or Supply Chain Management or a similar major with strong communication and data analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
• Interest in learning about healthcare information technology.
• Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective research tactics, good organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
