Manager, IT Finance Operations / Business Insight - Hybrid based in Dallas, TX

A distinctive Finance role at the intersection of financial planning, enterprise data management and business transformation. Responsible for helping design the IT Enterprise Financial structure in the Adaptive Platform. Incorporating Enterprise Data Management for key IT Vendors, leveraging ServiceNow (TenetOne) and Business Requirements Gathering, Develop and execute Power BI roadmap to consolidate Enterprise IT Financial data from multiple general ledger systems for comprehensive planning and actual reporting. Help document processes including and process workflows to facilitate transition from Apptio to Adaptive. Determine what Power Bi can supplement in reporting. The outcome is to manage the data for meaningful impact, improve financial transparency across Enterprise. Provide deeper insights into the IT Executive Leadership and CIO.

• Translating business needs into system configurations within the financial software, including mapping data fields, setting up calculations, and defining system parameters.
• Creating a Power BI platform for Enterprise Reporting for Major Vendors, Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Extracting, cleaning, and analyzing financial data from the system to generate reports, dashboards, and insights for decision-making.
• Act as a translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, well-scoped, and successfully delivered for Adaptive transition for IT taking place in 2026.
• Providing training to end users on system functionalities and troubleshooting issues related to financial data input and reporting.
• Supporting the implementation process, including data migration, system go-live, and ongoing maintenance of financial systems; work with outside Vendors to gather business requirements.
• Improve workflow processes across multiple legacy systems and recommend appropriate AI Solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Management.
• Deep understanding of systems like Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Hyperion or Anaplan.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and key financial metrics.
• Establish and maintain consistent standards for metrics definitions, dashboarding, and data documentation.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements.
• Expert knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Data Modeling and enterprise data systems.
• Leadership & Development: Strong people leadership skills with a track record of mentoring analysts, fostering collaboration, and working across matrix environments.
