POSITION TITLE: Manager, M&A Analytics
REPORTING TO: Sr. Director, Corporate Development
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The USPI Development team is looking for a detail oriented, organized self-starter who can lead and support the development process. This individual will work closely with the senior leaders in M&A Analytics as well as the Development Leads and Senior Management to meet the goals of the department and organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Prepare and present financial analysis, projections and valuations of potential acquisition, de novo, and relocation targets, including strategic and operational analysis
- Lead the due diligence process for acquisition targets, including creation of detailed work plans and coordination of key milestones
- Develop relationships with and provide critical support to Development and Operations
- Analyze actual results compared to budget for projects post-close, including variance analysis and key measures
- Prepare other ad hoc analyses in order to evaluate growth opportunities and support key corporate initiatives
REQUIRED SKILLS:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree from top-tier university and strong record of academic success
- 5+ years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, and/or M&A/corporate development
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Advanced skills on MS Excel and PowerPoint required
- Analytical skill to quickly understand and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Well-developed multi-tasking and project management capabilities with efficient time management skills
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Some travel required. We will run an MVR on the final candidate.
