Description:

This Corporate Senior Accountant position is an integral part of the general accounting group and is responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries related to government reimbursement; posting and reconciling third party cash receipts and settlement cash posting
  • Analyzing corporate department financials and distributing reports to department leaders
  • Overseeing corporate prepaid amortization
  • Tracking corporate receivables
  • Posting company Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) rebates
  • Posting company employee relocation home sale settlements
  • Reconciling company payroll cash
  • Preparing corporate tax packs for returns
  • Assisting with unclaimed property state filings
  • Preparing and posting monthly general accounting journal entries as part of the monthly close process
  • Preparing monthly account reconciliations
  • Communicating with corporate and hospital personnel regarding allocations
  • Providing support to the facilities and other corporate departments as needed and performing general accounting and reimbursement duties as assigned.



Qualifications:
  • Accounting degree preferred
  • 3+ years general ledger accounting experience, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Excel Pivot tables and macros
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude
