JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a portfolio of multi-disciplinary cost and revenue projects to improve operating efficiency and support growth. Projects may range from major integrations, market performance improvement, growth and other strategic initiatives. The role is responsible for mobilizing and managing resources across market and corporate functions to ensure timely and effective implementation of projects. The individual must be able to identify new sources of opportunity, influence key stakeholders, as well as ensure appropriate governance and decision making to ensure achievement of business objectives.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS & DIRECT REPORTS:

  • Partner with Corporate leadership to prioritize a roadmap of strategic projects and support
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to evaluate, implement and measure projects
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Legal etc. on evaluations and implementation
  • Eventually will have 3-4 direct reports with a range of Analyst to Director level roles

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:

  • Identify short- and medium-term ideas to enhance business value
  • Develop business cases, project plans and resource plans for ideas
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of projects
  • Manage third party support, as needed, to support delivery of projects in portfolio
  • Identify and manage key risks through a project lifecycle
  • Develop a team of implementers and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Measure impact and sustainability of projects and support continuous improvement

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years’ experience in healthcare industry
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects
  • Exposure to different operating models, service line and market constructs
  • Familiar with change management methodology and effectively applied
  • Familiar with project management methodology and tools

  • Ability to translate strategy and ideas into clear, actionable and measurable plans

  • Strong business acumen and data-driven approach to identifying opportunities and solutions
  • Sound decision-making and issue resolution judgement
  • Ability to effectively manage a budget, interpret a P&L and manage key business drivers
  • Strong work ethic, performance standards and ability to lead by example
  • Highest personal and professional integrity and principle and knowledge

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration - Required
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration - Preferred
Compensation:

A competitive compensation program will be tailored to the selected candidate. Base salary will be supplemented by a performance bonus and comprehensive, well-rounded benefits program, which includes relocation assistance.

Travel:

Travel is estimated about 25% - 50% of the time.
