TPR Financial Analyst (Remote based in Dallas, TX)

Description
Financial Analyst will prepare wRVU calculations for providers in the various regions, monthly volume analysis, monthly practice financials and MOR reports. This position works under the direction of the Senior Financial Analyst to develop additional reports to facilitate month end close process as well as develop and populate dashboards. Analyst will assist with the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Additionally, this position will extract and compile data from various systems to develop sound analyses to support month end close.
The ideal candidate needs to have the following:
- A working knowledge of wRVU’s, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rules for physicians and the ability to read and interpret contracts.
- Experience with developing SQL and Crystal reports.
- Building and deploying corporate and market level reports and dashboards in Tableau.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or related degree is required.
- 1-2 years of financial analysis work experience is required.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
- High level of analytical skills and extensive knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
- Intermediate knowledge of financial modeling techniques
- Prior experience with SQL, Crystal Reporting and Tableau preferred.
- Capacity to review, identify and implement improvement opportunities where new processes, technologies or efficiencies can be applied.
- Comprehensive conceptual problem solving and analytical skills utilizing complex spreadsheets, comparison tools and other evaluation systems as needed.
- Strong investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Independently organize work plans for assigned projects within team structure and develop constructive working relationships with others.
- Skilled in oral and written communication with a diverse level of participant knowledge and ability.
