The UKG Pro WFM Timekeeping & Absence Analyst is responsible for the support, configuration, and maintenance of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Timekeeping and Absence Management modules. This role ensures accurate time capture, compliance with pay and leave policies, and reliable system performance. The analyst collaborates with HR, payroll, operations, and IT teams to optimize system usage and improve workforce efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the UKG Pro WFM Timekeeping and Absence modules, including pay rules, work rules, holiday calendars, and accrual policies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for timekeeping, leave tracking, and related compliance (e.g., FMLA, sick leave laws, union rules).
- Provide day-to-day user support and issue resolution, including troubleshooting timecard discrepancies and absence tracking errors.
- Monitor timekeeping data integrity and assist in resolving exceptions prior to payroll processing.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and department managers to ensure consistent application of time and absence policies.
- Assist in testing and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
- Assist training resources in developing and delivering user documentation and training for time and absence processes.
- Analyze time and attendance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for operational improvement.
- Maintain audit controls and support regulatory compliance through accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support cross-functional WFM initiatives and act as a liaison between technical teams and business users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with UKG Pro WFM (formerly Kronos Workforce Dimensions or UltiPro), specifically in Timekeeping and Absence modules.
- Must be able to travel up to 20%.
- Strong understanding of time and attendance systems, payroll impacts, and labor compliance.
- Experience configuring pay rules, work rules, and leave/accrual policies within UKG Pro.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into system functionality and process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of supporting users at all organizational levels.
Preferences:
- Experience with labor law compliance (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, state-specific sick leave mandates).
- Familiarity with union contract rules or collective bargaining agreement configurations.
- Experience in industries with complex scheduling or attendance needs (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, retail).
- UKG Pro WFM certifications or formal UKG training.
Compensation:
- Pay: $73,632-$105,000 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
