JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Vice President of Talent Acquisition – Executive & Corporate will ensure that all sourcing and interview processes consistently produce high-caliber hires who exemplify the company’s performance standards, integrity, and work ethic. This executive will lead the design, execution, and continuous enhancement of recruitment strategies for executive leadership and corporate functions. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who combines strategic vision with analytical rigor, sound judgement, and commitment to data-driven decision making. The Vice President will be accountable for delivering exceptional candidate quality and stakeholder experience while building robust talent pipelines that align with the company’s growth objectives and culture.

The role is based in Dallas, Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy for executive and corporate roles that directly support business priorities.
    • Anticipate workforce needs and design proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
    • Partner closely with senior leadership to influence decisions with talent market insights and data.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Build consistent, disciplined processes that improve speed, quality of hire, and stakeholder experience.
    • Reduce dependency on external search firms by strengthening internal capabilities and delivering cost-effective solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with all policies, legal requirements, and diversity objectives while maintaining agility in execution.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation
    • Identify and address recurring challenges in executive and corporate hiring (e.g., limited talent pool, passive candidates, length of process)
    • Introduce innovative sourcing and assessment methods that expand access to top-tier and diverse talent pools.
    • Leverage technology and automation to remove friction points and improve recruiter productivity.
  • Data & Analytics
    • Establish meaningful metrics and dashboards to track performance, pipeline health, and candidate quality.
    • Use data-driven insights to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and continuously refine strategies.
    • Provide business leaders with talent market intelligence that influences organizational planning.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, setting clear goals, expectations, and accountability standards.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Build credibility and influence across HR, Finance, and business units to align talent strategies with company objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership of executive and corporate recruitment functions.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing executive search strategies and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and design practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical orientation; proven experience using data and metrics to drive strategy and measure success.
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence.
