Position Summary:

Exercises independence of action, judgment and discretion in in the day-to-day operations of the Administrative suites including the handling of confidential, secretarial, and executive duties. Maintains excellent organizational and communication skills in dealing with physicians, patients, public, and members of the hospital staff where an assertive but tactful demeanor is required. Maintains confidential files of correspondence and statistical reports and documents relative to the operation of the hospital. Coordinates, assists, and advises on a variety of hospital meetings, seminars, and/or programs. Primarily supports the Patient Safety Officer and the Risk Manager for the hospital, with patient grievances and logs.



Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Minimum: PostHigh School Vocation/Specialized Training

Preferred: Associate in Science Degree

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Sufficient previous executive secretarial experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Power Point at least.

Preferred: Prior experience in the health care field. Strong secretarial experience.
