Responsibilities

EDUCATION:

High School graduate or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Computer skills
Medical terminology
Prior experience in Radiology office a plus

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

None required

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluent English
Strong Communication and customer service skills
Pleasant voice and personality

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Imaging Director and Office Supervisor, performs general clerical duties. Answers phones and routes to appropriate areas. Adheres to the DMC Customer Service expectations.. Functions as a greeter and receptionist as needed. Downloads / Uploads imaging to discs. Documents the release of imaging in the RIS systems. Process imaging orders. Fax STAT and Critical result reports within appropriate time frames. Follows downtime procedures for reporting during RIS systems downtimes. Ensures that transferred Trauma patients reports and imaging are downloaded into the PACS system for the radiologist to view with concurrent imaging.
