Job Type: Full Time

Second in command. Must have direct reports. Ability to hire, fire and discipline staff.

Responsibilities

Assists controller in managing the accounting department staff and ensures month end close process is completed timely.  Right hand to the controller in preparing the annual budget with guidance from the CFO and Region/Market.  Ensures, along side of the controller, the entire balance sheet is reconciled timely.  Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.  Continuous progress toward becoming a controller.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience:

Required: 3 years accounting experience
Preferred: Healthcare experience
