Respiratory Therapy Pulmonary Tech Coordinator Full Time Days
$15,000 Sign-on Bonus for Experienced RRT
Responsible for performing pulmonary function studies, patient assess and treat, patient evaluation, patient education and counseling Assist with daily responsibilities of College of American Pathologist accreditation requirements. Responsible for new employee education manual completion and employee education on new services. Responsible for out-patient pediatric clinic development and on-going scheduled days for patient care. Responsible for monthly performance improvement tracking, reporting to monthly and quarterly PI hospital dashboard.
Graduate of AMA college Associate of Science in Respiratory Care. Bachelor degree preferred and/or enrollee in Bachelor Degree program.
Required: 1 year clinical experience minimum. Must speak, read and write fluently in English. Basic computer skills, to include MS Word and MS Excel. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in the absence of direct supervision. Able to follow directions and complete duties as assigned. Demonstrate technical competence and sound clinical judgment. Able to provide Respiratory Care services to non-critical and critically ill patients of all age groups.
Licensed in the state of Texas to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must be credentialed by TMB and NBRC.
Required: Current CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers), ACLS, NRP. Must obtain NBRC credential CPFT or RPFT within 6 months of hire if not currently hold credential.
