Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor coordinates assignments of Respiratory Care Staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of Coordinator/Director. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year of respiratory care
- Preferred: Supervisory experience
Certifications:
- Required: RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and AHA NRP
- Preferred: RRT

- Supervises, to include discipline, supports and coaches staff in absence of Director; responds proactively to employee needs; makes rounds to adequately maintain patient equipment; therapeutic listings; reports identified unusual patient conditions/reactions to immediate supervisor; performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year of respiratory care

Certifications:
