Credentialing Coordinator Full Time Days Position Summary

Coordinates information flow between two or more areas of a single function. Under general supervision may schedule activities, delegate responsibilities and/or provide notification to others as to status of the function. Will also do call schedules, physician orientation, work with medical staff committees on agenda/minutes, and support of other medical staff functions.

  • Provides clerical support to medical staff department and committee chairs.
  • Works with medical staff committees on agenda and minutes

THE CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education

Required: High School Graduate or equivalent

Experience

Required: 3 years in Medical Staff support role

Certification

Required: CPCS
Preferred: CPMSM upon hire
