JOB SUMMARY
Intermediate-level Analyst to prepare monthly, daily, weekly and ad hoc reports that will allow the business unit to analyze and improve business performance. May have oversight of Analyst I.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Independently clarifies report needs with clients to understand the purpose and content of request, utilizes systems to create and deliver analysis to meet client’s needs, audits and analyzes data to verify quality and data integrity. Points out and research data anomalies.
- Meets user deadlines for ad hoc reports and other requested information. Provide suggestions and recommendations to perform the necessary analytics to ensure requests are complete and accurate.
- Learns new technologies and systems to advance knowledge of reporting and analysis
- Builds relationships with other revenue cycle unit managers and supervisors to ensure good working relationships between other units and Analytics.
- Completes daily/weekly/monthly reporting assignments and strives for accuracy
- Works independently and with little supervision; prioritizes and manages multiple tasks to meet deadlines; and seeks guidance from manager as needed to clarify assignments or requests, ask questions, or seek additional information.
- Serves as a resource to Analyst I and other analysts and provides information and
- training as required.

- Strong analytical skills that review, interpret, summarize, and make recommendations to clients
- Set up and facilitate meetings with client and multiple business units in order to address business needs and develop solutions
- Gather business requirements from client to design analytical strategy for reporting
- Ability to demonstrate strong prioritization of projects and manage multiple deadlines
- Proficient (medium to high skill level) with various desktop applications such as Microsoft
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Access.
- Team Player - Always willing to help in whatever way possible and go the extra mile to get
- the job done.
- Intermediate knowledge of relational database management systems such as Showcase,
- MS SQL Server/MySQL, MS Access and/or AS/400.
- Intermediate problem solving and organizational skills
- Intuitive - Has the ability to figure out what customers need or what would be helpful to the
- customer before it is either brought up by them or requested by them; helps customers
- understand data and helps user define reporting needs
- Detail oriented, meticulous and accurate in completing tasks on time.
- Strives for continuous improvement through training & other learning opportunities
- SQL experience strongly encouraged.
- VBA, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy or similar experience a plus.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- 4 year college degree in Business, Accounting, IS, Engineering and/or 2-3 years experience.
- Healthcare experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation
- Pay: $57,616.00 - $92,144.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
