JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintaining the financial health of our hospital clients by preparing, analyzing, and acting on risk pool (~P&L) statements. Produces standardized reports using documented procedures, assures quality and accuracy of data, and delivers scheduled and requested reports on time to internal and external customers. Uses multiple business intelligence and analytical tools to summarize data in a meaningful and presentable format. Report and present data to internal customers in a user friendly, readable format. Provides recommendations to customers on the data presented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and present financial information for review and approval by leadership.
- Develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests utilizing available tools and technologies.
- Perform analysis on financial and operational issues.
- Analyze financial reports to ensure that they provide meaningful information.
- Demonstrate baseline working knowledge of level appropriate applications and tools.
- Follow standard principles and reporting systems used by CVBC.
- Use appropriate terminology.
- Participate as a team member in collaborate environment.
- Contribute to completion of department/company goals and objectives.
- Clearly communicate information both to internal and external customers.
- Maintain effective and collaborative relationships with CVBC staff.
- Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of data reporting using established procedures and tools.
- Use Crystal Reports, Excel, and Access to perform the functions of data extraction and reporting.
- Extract data from processing systems to perform analysis and report generation using various databases and data sources.
- Use exported data to generate pivot tables on the exported data to summarize data in a meaningful and presentable way.
- Analyze exported data to determine reasonableness of data and data quality
- Report and present data to internal and external customers in a user-friendly readable format. Provide recommendations to customers on the data presented.

- Strong ability to rapidly assimilate complex data and make decisions
- Strive to deliver quality information in a timely manner while handling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Use of Excel and Access with a skill level of medium to advanced.
- Use of Crystal Reports with a skill level of basic.
- Ability to make presentations to key stakeholders
- Ability to audit data driven reports for accuracy, recognize anomalous data, and follow through with troubleshooting identified data issues.
- Attention to detail

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Health Informatics, or related field.
- 3-5 years related experience

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation
- Pay: $51,626.00 - $77,438.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
