Job Summary:

The Data Solutions Developer is responsible for successful delivery of technology initiatives involving data management, including responsibilities for planning, coordinating, developing, validating, and maintaining the design through deployment/support phases of complex, inbound and outbound ETL processes and related constructs primarily built for usage in the healthcare industry. The Data Solutions Developer understands business challenges & translates business and functional requirements into technical solutions. Additionally, the Data Solutions Developer will be involved with general data modeling and design/development of various data management initiatives, as well as general application/data systems support, with often wide and varying degrees of complexity, using agile/iterative development methods.

Degree Of Supervision:

This position reports to the Director, Software Development, and requires minimal supervision. The Data Solutions Developer must have the ability to work both independently and in conjunction with internal and external business partners, managing workloads and setting priorities appropriately, within the guidelines and parameters defined by the needs of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data integration requirements and develop appropriate solutions for processing and importing/exporting data to and from various internal and external sources.
  • Revise or expand existing processes to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Analyzes database structures and creates processes for application-level data integration.
  • Plans, reviews and recommends implementation solutions methods – stay up on current trends.
  • Provides support, troubleshooting and solution-engineering for various data-dependent applications.
  • Ensures solutions have built-in integrity checks and appropriate error-handling/alerting mechanisms.
  • Conducts design reviews, and participates in system and UT/UAT scenarios along with BA and Stakeholders.
  • Supports, as needed, post-implementation issues as they arise.
  • All other job-related duties as it relates to the job function or as delegated by the management team.

  • SSIS (Expert Proficiency)
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF) (Mid-Level Proficiency)
  • SQL Server/T-SQL Programming; Stored Procedures, Views, User-Defined Functions, Windowing Functions, Triggers, etc (High Proficiency)
  • Visual Studio (High Proficiency)
  • Azure DevOps/AGILE Development Lifecycle (Mid-Level Proficiency)
  • C# /.Net Scripting (Mid-Level Proficiency)
  • Healthcare IT/Data Knowledge (Claims, Enrollment, Providers, 837, HL7, X-12)
  • Exceptional knowledge of ETL (SSIS) technologies and methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with general Agile SDLC guidelines
  • Experience with flowcharting & process methodologies and documentation
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies and full Office PRO Suite

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $70,096.00 - $112,112.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
