JOB SUMMARY
The process automation training specialist is responsible for developing and providing training modules which will facilitate the ongoing development of process automation. Responsible for creating and maintaining training manuals, job aids, and other educational material. Plan, develop, and provide training, using knowledge and experience of effective methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, and workshops. Create and execute a training plan to expedite the advancement and skill set of process automation analysts. Review and evaluation of training plan(s) to modify or improve as department demands and company strategies change. Acts as a “Train-the-Trainer” for Process and Training Department, on specified projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Design and facilitate course modules appropriate for New Hire Training – Analyst and Senior Analyst duties. Implement a training schedule for new hire onboarding.
- Coordinate New Hire and on-going training based upon trainee and department needs. Ensure that content and delivery of training is meeting the specific need and desired outcome.
- Become “Point of Contact” for Training Directors and Supervisors; Create “Train-the-Trainer” modules for new workflows, processes, and enhancements that have significant operational impact.
- Coordinate with Conifer IT to establish an effective system training environment. Articulate needs for reference, routing, and workflow tables that will enable “real” training opportunities on the system.
- Develop and/or enhance training documents and support materials, as needed. Develop processes or procedures that ensure effectiveness of training delivery
- Set up weekly/monthly training calendar to provide one-on-one access and training to staff. Work with Managers to identify specific training needs or employee deficits to proactively address.
- Create and review training assessments to obtain trainee feedback and identify training improvements.

- Thorough and practical understanding of the process automation department
- Demonstrated ability to apply training and adult learning best practices to a “technical training” outcome
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal skills including advanced ability with oral expression, speech clarity, originality, and fluency of ideas.
- Advanced organizational and document management skills.
- Experienced in both instructor-led, virtual, and computer-based training
- Demonstrated effectiveness to influence management, business groups and Subject Matter Experts to recommended solutions and processes.
- Embraces a fast-paced, diverse, and deadline driven environment
- Strong presentation skills for various group levels and size.
- Possesses a passion for guiding, directing and motivating others in learning
- Ability to manage, measure, and evaluate training modules and outcomes
- Ability to develop rapport with trainees, managers, and internal/external customers.
- Strong understanding of Healthcare Industry, specifically revenue cycle
- Advanced level skills in applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Additional skills preferred, not required:
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge/experience with system design in a database environment
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Knowledge of research methodology, principles and procedures

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- 4 year college degree in Business or Healthcare, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst, or in business process improvement or workflow analysis position
- 2-3 years with Business Process Innovation

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation
- Pay: $64,168.00 - $96,262.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
