Summary

The Sr. Full-Stack Software Developer role requires a highly self-motivated individual, who works well in a team-oriented environment, possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and is comfortable working on diverse projects with an Engineering Mindset. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in WPF-Based Desktop Application Architecture, Engineering, Development and Support. Generalized experience across development and support services for .NET applications for the Healthcare Industry is the preferred background. Additional experience building (or converting desktop apps to) Web-based Solutions is a big plus. The ability to confidently develop complex solutions using WPF, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server is also required.

What You'll Do

Primary responsibilities include:

  • System and Software Design, Engineering, Development, and Support for WPF-based .NET Desktop and/or Web Applications in a Microsoft Full Stack environment, in support of building high-availability, critical, internal and external-facing desktop APPS and other Critical Business Applications
  • Under minimal supervision, works closely with other project team members, product owners, stakeholders and customers, providing expertise in problem solving and innovation
  • Ensure application design adheres to Coding Standards, Best Practices and Intuitive UI/UX Design
  • Work collaboratively within the team and across the enterprise to effectively communicate progress and performance
  • Some ad-hoc support for existing legacy platforms and technologies is required

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Extensive knowledge of MVVM Application Architecture using WPF as the Primary Programming Platform Language, Application Architecture, Development Standards and Best Practices, Performance Optimization and Back/Front-end Development
  • Extensive Knowledge and experience with Microsoft development tools, especially WPF, .NET Core, .NET Framework, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and Git.
  • Expertise in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views, as well as an ability to analyze data to intuit patterns and validate data integrity
  • Complete understanding and experience with the AGILE Software Development Life Cycle, including familiarity with both Sprint-Based and KanBan development methodologies
  • Understanding of data models and logical databases and their evolution to the physical database design
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design
  • Application Modernization of existing legacy applications using WPF and other Desktop Architectures
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Self-starter and continuous learner bringing new ideas and solutions to improve systems and processes.
  • Detail Oriented and produces quality deliverables
  • Adaptable and able to deal with changes, delays or unexpected events.
  • Dependable and able to complete necessary goals
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft family of products (Office 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Previous Experience with Healthcare Technology is a big plus

Experience

This role is for a Level 3 (Senior), and requires a minimum of TEN (10) years of progressively responsible experience in Software Engineering and Desktop Application Development.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $77,376.00 - $123,552.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
