Job Summary

Performs routine technical and clerical functions. Performs venipuncture, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens; may perform CLIA waived laboratory tests.

  • Service orientation actively looking for ways to care through respect, courtesy, empathy and warmth when communicating with patients and clients.

  • Team-work skills contributing to departmental success.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Ability to complete blood draws independently within six-weeks of hire.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months of laboratory experience.

Job Responsibilities 

Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens, labels tubes and specimen containers, and collects specimens. Performs phlebotomist duties as assigned.
