POSITION SUMMARY
Working lead, coordinates the scheduling and efforts of the CT Technologists, trains and mentors. Ability to perform duties of ARRT Technologist when not performing Radiology Cat Scan procedures. In Absence of Supervisor/Director, this position oversees the Cat Scan Department to ensure that the unit is operating efficiently and effectively. Ensures all technologists are kept informed of changes occurring within the department and facility.

Qualifications:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years cat scan experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Three years cat scan experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Currently Certified and Registered in Radiography ARRT, CRT. Current Arizona CTCT license. CPR required.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CT Registry
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. Problem solving skills.
SUPERVISES: Functional supervision will be exercised over area staff, cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students.
