Physician Practice Development Manager

Description:

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Practice Development Manager in South Texas to support our physicians and leadership team. The Practice Development Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing the internal marketing operations for local markets within Tenet Physician Resources. The Manager will facilitate TPR physician practice and business development efforts by establishing relationships with outside healthcare professionals and the community, and act as a liaison for all outsourced marketing functions. Identifies business development opportunities; establishes and maintains relationships with healthcare professionals and strategic partners; oversees marketing initiatives including print materials, and TV, radio and print ads; coordinates and participates in community health fairs, community lectures and seminar series; and supports action plan development for increased volume initiatives by provider, including provider/residency open houses.

Deliverables include:

Responsible for strategically planning and implementing visits to Tenet-employed physicians, physician office staffs and other potential referral sources throughout the primary and secondary markets

Meets routinely with physicians (e.g., office visits, scheduled meetings, patient referral patterns, etc.) to understand how they might increase physician and patient satisfaction, throughput, patient visit and volumes, hospital utilization, and outpatient service capabilities.

Coordinate with Market Operations, Onboarding Team, and Hospital A-Team on new physician’s on-boarding process for smooth opening/transition of practice

Assume responsibility for overall execution of consistent physician volume building strategies throughout the Market with a primary focus of increasing patient volumes

Work with hospital A-Team and directors to communicate operational and service issues, as identified by physicians and follow up with physicians as to resolution of the issue



Qualifications:

Requires:


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or Business) required.

• Prefers 5 to 7 years related experience; healthcare industry experience desired.

• Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to and influence people at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships within the company as well as with community healthcare professionals, vendors and other business associates.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, staff and patients.

• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with initiative; ability to be flexible and organized; and function well under pressure and as an effective member of a team.

• Ability to represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.

• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and some weekends for community events
