Responsibilities
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 1 year in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
Must have ARRT certification within one year post graduation from a Radiology Program of an accredited school.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center

Summary
Under the direction of a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment consistent with JCAHO and State standards. Performs basic diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in various age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
