Lead Certified Medical Assistant Hoover Primary Care
$1000 Sign on Bonus
A non-exempt medical office position responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice. Position will also assist in ensuring optimal efficiency in clinical process.
- Monitors patient flow and adjust assignments as necessary to maintain optimum efficiency and patient satisfaction. Responsible for phone triage.
- Monitor inventory of clinical supplies and maintain vaccine logs.
- Train all new employees on front and back office processes and systems. Implement and train clinic employees on new processes and procedures.
- Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan by taking vital signs, blood pressure, patient history, medication listing, assessing visual acuity and determining chief complaint. Assesses patients’ physical and mental status.
Required: High school diploma/GED required with completion of Medical Assisting Program strongly preferred.
Required: Must have a minimum of five years of clinical experience working in a physician office
Required: Medical Assistant and CPR certifications
