Job Summary

Evaluates patient communication, cognitive and swallowing abilities, and screens hearing acuity, providing written documentation on treatment and discharge plans. Educates staff and patient/family members on the overall needs of the patient and modifies treatment approaches as needed. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.

Qualifications:
Mandatory
  1. Valid certifications/license to practice Speech Therapy in the state of California
  2. Current CPR certification in Healthcare Provider status
Preferred
  1. One to two years of acute, long term, and outpatient rehab experience providing speech/language pathology services
