RN Wound Care Case Manager Per Diem Days

Specializations include a dedicated outpatient facility that houses cancer, imaging, and infusion centers, a bi-plane catheterization lab, robot-assisted surgery capabilities, an Orthopedic Destination Center and radiation oncology physician services provided by UCLA Health. Awards and distinctions include the American Stroke Association Get With the Guidelines Gold+ Performance Achievement Award for Stroke with Honor Roll Elite Plus and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll and a Comprehensive Stroke Center designation by DNV-GL.

Job Summary:

Under rhe direction of the Nuse Manager and Director, the RN communicates and collaborates with physicans and other memebers of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for in-patient and out-patient with wound, ostomy, and HBO needs/conditions. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility for patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate care for chronic wound, ostomy and hyperbaric patients. The RN works within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act and follows all department and hospital policies and procedures. He/She complies with all hospital standards and nursing clincial practice guidelines while performing job duties and responsibilities.

Mandatory:

• Possession of valid Registered Nurse License issued by the state of California
• Valid BLS

Preferred:

• Wound Care Experience
• Wound Care Certification
