Performs a variety of patient-related duties under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or physician. Maintains an environment conducive to the patient's well-being.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months recent experience (within the last one year) as an Emergency Department technician or Emergency Medical Technician or completed at least first semester of clinical portion of registered nurse program.
Required: Healthcare provider BLS. Must possess certificate of completion of EKG Arrhythmia course, must pass EKG/Arrhythmia Exam prior to hire and annually thereafter. CA Phlebotomy Certification if job requires blood draws for lab testing purposes.
