- Facility Carondelet Marana Hospital
Carondelet’s Marana Hospital (located at 5620 West Cortaro Farms Road, Tucson, AZ 85742) serves Marana and the surrounding communities in the northwest Tucson area. The eight-inpatient bed hospital will offer 24-hour emergency care and surgical services with around-the-clock general surgery, hospitalist and emergency physician coverage. Designed as a neighborhood hospital focused on quality medical care, convenience and efficiency, the facility is smaller in scale than a typical general hospital. Like its larger Carondelet sister hospitals, it has an ER, surgical suite, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and other services. Carondelet Marana Hospital includes a 13-bed emergency department open 24/7. Patients with abdominal pain, sprains and broken bones, cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, minor trauma, lacerations, bladder infections, dehydration, pneumonia and flu are typical of illnesses expected to be treated in the hospital’s ER. An operating room and eight inpatient rooms will be available for lower acuity procedures such as gall bladder surgery and appendectomies.
