Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating and performing administrative tasks related to Human Resources, supporting the entire HR department under the guidance of the Senior Human Resources Manager and in collaboration with the Human Resources Generalist.

  • Maintain in an organized manner, all employee human resource and benefits files
  • Handle all routine distributions
  • Maintain HR forms and items via HRIS Portal and any related systems/files
  • Assist HR Director in maintaining/updating Policy & Procedures and Job Descriptions
  • Maintain current job listings and job descriptions
  • Entering in and Maintenance of employee changes in HRIS system 
  • Entering and processing employee terminations/separations
  • Coordinate with Payroll as appropriate regarding HRIS changes
  • Active participant in New Hire Orientation process on routine basis and annual Open Enrollment as directed
  • Coordinate refreshments and meeting places for HR functions
  • Administrative and clerical functions in any Human Resources department project
  • Assists with answering employee benefit questions on a daily basis
  • Maintains Employee Handbook with updated policies and ensures electronic version on Employee Portal is updated
  • Assists with coordination/scheduling/communication of department and/or company events
  • Updates all job descriptions in Employee Portal as directed
  • Completes employment verifications for current and terminated employees
  • Assists with employee terminations when necessary
  • Coordinate with Clinical Services in support role as directed (example. scrubs distribution, etc.)
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Manage recruiting logistics and tracking for open and filled positions
  • Partner with hiring managers on interviews and candidate selection
  • Create and maintain recruiting plans and candidate pipelines
  • Conduct pre-screens, reference checks, and assist with offer letters
  • Attend job fairs and support recruitment events
  • Gather and report new hire feedback for management
  • Stay current on recruitment best practices
  • Support recruitment data prep and offer approvals
  • Additional projects as assigned or directed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 
  • BA degree HIGHLY desired
  • Minimum of one year of experience in human resources, payroll processing, or like administrative/support role preferably in a health care setting.  
  • General knowledge of laws and regulations related to Human Resources
  • General knowledge of payroll, benefits, and employment documentation.
  • Knowledge of how to use and proficiency using PC and human resources software applications.
