Summary of Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for processing eyeglasses according to ANSI standards, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality specifications. You will work efficiently to finish and ship eyewear orders to optical offices, maintaining a high standard of accuracy, quality, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optical lab processes and a commitment to providing superior service

Essential Job Functions:
- Accurately process prescription eyeglasses, including cutting, edging, polishing, and assembling lenses into frames in compliance with ANSI standards.
- Inspect finished eyewear for quality, ensuring that all lenses are free from defects and that frames are assembled correctly and securely.
- Package and ship completed orders to optical offices in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are accurately processed and tracked.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, such as lens edgers, polishers, and other optical machinery, ensuring that all tools are functioning properly and are calibrated for precision.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, including customer specifications, work orders, and product details to ensure traceability and accountability.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, as well as adhere to company policies and ANSI standards for optical work.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Attends required meetings
- Travels to satellite locations when needed
- Maintains patient confidentially

Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Background Requirements
- One year of Lab experience
Minimum Demonstrated Skills
- Proficiency on a PC
- Proficient use of manual lensometer
- Proficient use of all lab equipment
