Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Memphis features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/ Surge and Telemetry.
Risk Management Manager FT Days Position SummaryUnder the direction of leadership, implements Risk Management Program practices to avoid or reduce loss to the organization.
Collaborates with the other departments to develop and assure implementation of patient safety and high reliability initiatives.
Acts as a resource for department and all staff in addressing risk management issues.
- May have responsibility for staff
- Has authority to hire, fire and discipline
- Oversees the process for collecting, reporting and maintaining information necessary to ensure appropriate insurance coverage
- Coordinates all activities necessary for compliance with the Safe Medical Device Act
- Coordinates the investigation associated with an allegation of an EMTALA violation
- Participates in audits of departments/processes for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Risk Management Manager FT Days Candidate Will Possess the Following Education and License or Certifications EducationRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in patient care related field.
ExperienceRequired: 3 years in direct patient care
CertificationsPreferred: CPHRM or CPPS Certification
