Summary

The Critical Care RN is responsible for identifying patient's needs and
priorities for care through assessment, planning for and delegating based on patient's needs,executing therapeutic physician or nurse initiated interventions, and evaluating the patient's response to care and progress towards outcomes. The Critical Care Nurse provides nursing care to critically ill patients, continuously monitoring and evaluating those critically ill patients through special monitoring and life support equipment. This Critical Care RN recognize and respond to adverse symptoms with immediate corrective and often life-saving techniques.




Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred

Fundamental mathematics.

Verbal and written English skills.

Within 30 days of hire, employee must: complete general and nursing orientation, demonstrate accuracy and ability to safely administer medications.
Within 90 days of hire, employee must: show proficiency of IV therapy skills, demonstrate competence in Critical Care Competencies.


Licensure/Certifications

Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession BLS & ACLS Certification

CCRN Certification preferred
