Summary
Reports to the Director of Plant Operations, plans, organizes, directs and controls operations activities of the Plant Operations Department, to provide effective upkeep of equipment and facilities in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Doctors Medical Center, Joint Commission, State Department of Health Services and other local and government agencies. Assists Director with construction planning, OSHPOD issues, DHS, architect and completion of all construction projects. Assumes all of the Director of Plant Operations responsibilities in their absence. This will include all departments assigned under their direction.

Minimum Education: Associate Degree
Minimum Experience/Skills: 5+ years experience required
License/Certificates/Credentials: Valid California Drivers License and automotive insurance
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
- Lift/position up to 100 lbs.
- Push/pull up to 100 lbs of force.
- Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, manual dexterity and mobility, ability to move quickly.
Vision Requirements: Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, adjust vision to bring objects into focus and to distinguish different colors
Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness), emergency and crisis situations, subject to irregular hours, occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries, occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances and biohazard material.

Pay Range: $97,760 - $151,840 **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience ***Calculated based on a full time position
