Description:

Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385 bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.

The LVN II performs under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The LVN II is responsible for patient care required, based upon demonstrated patient needs and contributes to the plan of care which meets those needs. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes only.




Qualifications:


Qualifications:
1.Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
2.Maintains a current license as an LVN, issued by the State of California;
3.Current BLS certification.
4.Competent demonstration of IV skills and/or IV therapy certification.
5.Minimum of five years current experience in an emergency room department.
6.Membership in a professional organization(s) is recommended.
7.Maintains ACLS certification.
8.Recommended-successful completion of basic EKG course.
