In support of Tenet Healthcare employed physician efforts, we are looking for a Specialist, Projects Sr. to join our team. The Specialist Projects Sr, works closely with the Sr. Director of Clinical Informatics, Tenet Physician Resources teams, and various ancillary vendors in use throughout our enterprise. Overall management of key projects related to NextCare initiative.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and direct implementation tasks internally within Abrazo and Carondelet markets related to Business Development initiatives.
  • Develop implementation project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, cost projections.
  • facilitate resolution of open or outstanding project related issues
  • Schedule appropriate resources to execute tasks outlined in implementation project plans.
  • Use independent judgment to plan, execute and direct implementation tasks within AZ Group to achieve the project objectives, ensuring the deliverables are on time and of high quality.
  • Develop project strategies and undertake project tasks as required.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for greater service efficiency.
  • Develop analytics tools to assist Business Development team to identify provider/practice to focus engagement for service line development within market facilities.
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine and facilitate the appropriate course of action to be taken, during the course of an implementation, based on the analysis performed and evaluation of all possible solutions.
  • Execute the appropriate actions to address critical and/or outstanding issues impacting the implementation timeline.
  • Responsible for ensuring all deliverables have been met prior to conclusion of a project.
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects are staying within the scope and financial budget established. Through analysis and exercising best judgment consulting with requesting individual and/or management when situation require the need to go outside initial scope and budget
  • Independently maintain personal calendar and schedule
  • Provide recommendations/consultation to Management on areas for departmental or implementation process improvements.

Required:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skill
  • Excellent people skills
  • Proficient working with MS Office Suite of products including but not limited to Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
  • Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and orientation towards results
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proactively handle multiple issues and projects
  • Exhibits a positive, open, and professional attitude to internal and external customer base.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between markets if needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 1 years’ experience leading key projects
  • Experience managing and negotiating with vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking, time-management, and attention to details.
  • Strong client facing and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of data driven Business Development strategies
  • Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools
  • Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines, and varying degrees of technical and business experience.
  • Ability to work within strict compliance guidelines related to interactions with referral sources.

Position will support Tenet corporate located in Texas. Tenet Healthcare complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
