Safely operates and maintains boilers, HVAC, compressors, pumps and other auxiliary equipment necessary for hospital function. Can perform in a specialty area, such as electrical, HVAC, construction, etc. Safely performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital plant as directed. Performs minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Reports to the Facility Services Coordinator and Director of Facility Services.
Demonstrates skill in maintaining and repair of the physical plant. Operates and maintains all boilers, chillers, air handlers, and other equipment. Performs general maintenance work to insure the correct operation of all building systems.
- Five years general maintenance experience or background in healthcare environment preferred.
- Non-violent crisis intervention/verbal de-escalation course within 3 months of hire.
- Trade certification or degree preferred.

Pay Range: $25.09 - $38.89
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
