Description:

SUMMARY:Maintains patient records on unit.Schedules tests and procedures, notes orders, and maintains supply level for unit.Performs basic data collection and basic patient assessment, identifying deviations, assists with family requests, provides direct inpatient and outpatient care including but not limited to bathing, feeding, vital signs, patient weight, & blood sugar finger sticks.Position will require interaction with RN�s.



Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Some college or vocational training preferred.

Minimum Licensure and Certification:CNA and/or completion of one year of nursing school with the intention to complete a nursing degree required. CPR certification required.

Minimum Experience/Additional Certification:Minimum of six months of work experience.

1 to 2 years of job-related experience preferred.
